The POWERCHOCK 9 is an innovative safety equipment to protect your dock workers.
It combines the proven effectiveness of our wheel restraint system and the ingenuity of powerful connected sensors, to secure both swap bodies and semi-trailers at the same dock.
■ In loading mode for a swap body, the chock is positioned on a dedicated ground plate below the swap body, preventing trailers from backing under the swap body.
■ In truck load mode, the chock is positioned on restraining plates up to 3 meters from the dock in order to block the semi-trailers’ rear wheel.
■ Prevents the truck from going underneath an uncoupled swap body while door of your loading bay is open.
■ Advises thanks to chock sensors and alarms of untimely vehicle approach.
■ Equipped with five sensors detecting arm, wheel, restraining plate, vehicle and door connected to an audio-visual communication system.
■ Composed of a bidirectional and 40cm high wheel chock made of high-strength steel mounted on a trolley connected to a pole.
Simple and efficient communication between the driver and the workers thanks to the control box inside, and the audio-visual alarm (red-green LED lights + audible signal) outside:
■ Interfaced with the door and the leveler controls
■ Customizable control programme with self-checking electrical components
